Bittersweet Day 11

I think love is the best thing in the world. 

I also think it's the worst, the most scary, and the most painful thing in this world.

It feels like a new world brought to life. It feels like the end of everything.

You long for it, and cherish it.

You despise it, and wish it never existed.

Lifelong Memories.

Lifelong trauma.

The joy of having a routine together.

The sadness of continuing without them.

Knowing you share it.

Knowing you shared it.

Do I regret falling in love?

Absolutely. 

Will I be willing to go through all the heartache and suffering?

Could I go through the feeling of losing everything, having my future crumble before my eyes? All for some fleeting moments of happiness and joy?

Absolutely.

Although I still hurt, I'll see something we did, hear our favorite song, or pass by our coffee shop. 

I'll remember. 

And be glad that it happened.
