Day 38 Love

This warm feeling in my chest is familiar. Weightless like nothing can hold me down. It's been so long since I've felt this way, have I ever felt this way before? Things don't really seem as bleak now that I've found you. I'm sorry it took me so long. I realize now that you're the only one I can actually rely on. This feeling of love is different then I'm used to. Strangely it's the first time I've loved you. My false future had to crumble before I found my real future in you. You won't leave, I won't let you, I won't lose you again. I didn't realize how much you meant to me until you were gone. I promise to love and support you. Just as I know you will support me.

Loving who you are feels strange.
